Does Tech West Canada provide funding to offset travel expenses?
Companies who join our delegations pay for their own travel and accommodation. So no, however we can point you in the direction of certain programs and initiatives (CanExport, Alberta Export Support, etc.) that may cover costs.
Will your team represent my company if I can’t attend the event?
No. You are the best representative of your company and we cannot take meetings on your behalf.
What are my obligations as a delegate?
Our only measure of success is your success. We require that all delegate companies meet with us in the year after the event, for about an hour to discuss any business outcomes so we can report those back in aggregate to our funders.
How can I ensure a good return on my investment?
We provide a variety of opportunities and services and you can choose what works best for your business. We recommend preparing well in advance, registering early and communicating your goals to our team and the provincial team working so we can support you to the best of our ability.
